Overview

The 4RS-1 is a universal 4-outlet power expansion module. It can be used with any of TrolMaster’s “plug-in” style device modules to expand the number of devices that can be controlled by the Hydro-x. A single 220-240 volt “trigger” cable on the 4RS-1 connects to your device / control module. When the device module is activated by the Hydro-x, the 4RS-1 trigger cable will turn on each of the 4 receptacles on the 4RS-1 with a 3-second time delay between each outlet being activated. That minimizes high start-up (inrush current) and allows up to 4 devices to be safely controlled. The 4RS-1 must be installed with a 220/240 volt power circuit (up to 50-amps @ 240vac). Three wire terminals inside the unit accept up to #6 AWG wire making connections to the power source easy.

It takes up 4 device modules from the controller and comes with 4 outputs that are defaulted from left to right, including DSTx1, DSHx1, and DSPx2. The power cable is directly connected to the socket, making installation quick and easy. Overview

TrolMaster's AMP-2 module connects the Aqua-x to a set of precision pH / EC & temperature probes to constantly measure the pH / EC & temperature of the water being sampled. The AMP-2 works with the TrolMaster PCT-1&2 and the PPH-1&2 probes. Once connected to the Aqua-x, the AMP-2 will display the sensor data on the Aqua-x and on the APP. The minimum and maximum “limits” can be set on the Aqua-x providing 24/7 notification of pH / EC or temperatures that are out of limits.

TrolMaster's ARS-1 mini-split air conditioner controller is a unique product that solves the age-old problem of having separate day and night temperature settings on your mini-split air conditioners. The ARS-1 is a universal controller that works with most mini-split air conditioners (and some window-type AC units too), as long as the unit came with an IR / infrared remote controller. We use the remote control that came with the unit to “teach” those IR signals to the ARS-1 module. Once the ARS-1 “learns” those remote control codes, the ARS-1 will send those same signals to the indoor mini-split head unit changing the setpoint to the desired Day or Night temperature setting automatically base on the photocell sensor status.

The TrolMaster ARS-2 AC Remote Station is an advanced universal controller designed for seamless integration with TrolMaster's Hydro-X, Tent-X, and Green-X Control Systems (including HCS-2, HCS-3, TCS-1, and GCS-1). It addresses the need for precise, automated climate control by allowing you to easily manage any IR (infrared) remote-controlled AC unit, particularly mini-split systems and compatible window-type AC units.

A key enhancement of the ARS-2 compared to its predecessor is its ability to learn and control temperature values for AUTO, COOL, and HEAT modes, offering more versatile climate management. Overview

TrolMaster's AS-2 CO2 Alarm Station combines an audio-visual alarm module with a color-coded LED display indicator and a LCD digital ppm level reading. It is designed to be mounted outside of the space to be monitored and will display the CO2 ppm level. The AS-2 can be linked to either the low or the high-level CO2 sensors, or it can be linked to both sensors for complete redundancy.

The green LED indicator shows the CO2 level is below 800ppm which means the room is safe to entry. The yellow LED indicator shows CO2 level equal to or above 800ppm which means supplemental CO2 is in use. The AS-2 will sound an audible alarm and blinking red LED indicator in the event of the CO2 level going above normal or safe levels.

Please Note: The AS-2 requires the SPH-1 for supplemental power.

TrolMaster's Beta-1 Digital Day/Night Remote Controller is a simple solution for Mini Split Air Conditioners.

It uses the remote control that came with your mini split air-conditioner to “learn” how to change the setpoints on the mini-split. Just about any brand of mini-split unit can be controlled by the Beta-1. Once the Beta-1 learns the signals from your remote controller, it will automatically change the setpoint on the mini-split to two separate Day and Night temperatures. It does this AUTOMATICALLY by using a small IR (infrared) emitter / sending unit that will send the same signal to the mini-split, as the remote control would normally send.

The remote controller’s teach & learn process takes about 5 minutes. Once remote control programming is complete, the user simply selects the day and night temperature settings they want to use on the Beta-1 control panel. A built-in photocell / light sensor will determine when it is Day and Night. The Beta-1 will then activate (send a signal to the mini-split unit) to go to the correct temperature setpoint based on the photocell status.

The Beta-1 unit can be mounted anywhere inside the area to be controlled as long as the unit is positioned to that the photocell on the front of the Beta-1 receives enough light to detect when it is Daytime. The IR emitter is then mounted in a position so that it has a direct line of sight to the mini-split indoor air-handler unit in order to send the IR signal to the mini-split unit.

The Beta-1’s temperature sensor provides a clear temperature reading of the current temperature inside the area being controlled, as well as the current temp setting selected. The temperature sensor will also constantly monitor and re-send the IR signal to the mini-split if the Beta-1 does not detect the temperature changing.

The Beta-1 can be set to cool only, heat only, or cooling AND heating depending on the mini-split unit’s capabilities. The Beta-1 is easy to use, reliable and effective at providing separate Day and Night temperature settings for your mini-split air conditioner.

TrolMaster's BETA-2 can control variable-speed fans by using the current temperature to increase or decrease the fan speed. By increasing the fan speed, cooling is increased. Decreasing fan speed will reduce cooling capacity. Using the BETA-2 in this way provides a VERY economical and efficient way of dealing with heat within an enclosed space.

TrolMaster's BM-1 weatherproof box is designed to provide protection for the TrolMaster TS-1/2 (Thermostat Stations), HS-1 (Humidistat Station) and ARS-1 (AC Remote Station for the Hydro-X System) controllers from dripping water and low-pressure sprayed water.

Overview

TrolMaster's Carbon-X system provides critical monitoring of CO2 levels for up to 13 separate zones / rooms. The system can have both high-level (up to 30,000ppm) alerts, as well as low-level (5,000ppm) alerts. Both high and low-level limits are user-adjustable to meet local regulations for supplemental CO2 use indoors.

The Carbon-X system can also control various devices such as ventilation fans, dampers, main CO2 valves as well as send a signal to the fire department by interfacing to the fire / alarm panel in the facility. Automatic shut-off of CO2 is accomplished by wiring the facility’s main CO2 solenoid in series with one of the system control modules. The settings for each of the devices connected to the system are user-selectable for easy customization.

Each room monitored by the Carbon-X will also require an audio-visual alarm to alert the person to the level of CO2 in the area, and whether or not it is safe to occupy the area. 

The TrolMaster app can be used to remotely monitor the Carbon-X as well as to receive user-alert / notifications if high CO2 levels are detected. 

The CDA-1 is the brain of the system.

Overview

The Hawkeye (CM-1) from TrolMaster provides an economical and accurate method to monitor an enclosed space. Some users simply need to monitor the temperature, humidity, and CO2, and VPD levels without the need to actually control any devices. The CM-1 / Hawkeye is designed specifically to be used as a back-up monitoring system to ensure environmental conditions stay within acceptable limits.

The Hawkeye comes COMPLETE with everything you will need to measure temperature, humidity, CO2 and also provides an accurate VPD measurement (Vapor Pressure Deficit). The user can select the minimum and maximum allowable (limits) for temperature, humidity and CO2 levels. If those limits are exceeded, the Hawkeye will notify the user via the TrolMaster APP as well as by audible and visual alerts displayed on the LED digital display.

The Hawkeye is a stand-alone monitoring system that can be used with or without an internet connection. However, once the EM-1 is connected to the internet, it will begin to automatically record and display trends and data from the sensors on an easy-to-read graph within the TrolMaster APP. Local storage of ALL recorded data can also be recalled from the unit when a MicroSD card is inserted into the Hawkeye.
