For example, if an exhaust fan is assigned for climate control by the Hydro-X system, the DCC-2 enables the same exhaust fan to also be addressed to Carbon-X for emergency CO2 exhaust purposes.
The DCC-2 is designed to be used in combination with one of TrolMaster's plug-in style modules. (DSC-1, DSH-1/2, DST-1/2 , DSP-1, DSD-1, DSV-1). Once connected to the plug-in module using the RJ12 cable built into the DCC-2, the DCC-2 will act in concert with that plug-in module to both 2 controllers, whatever device is connected to the plug-in module.

It addresses the need for precise, automated climate control by allowing you to easily manage any IR (infrared) remote-controlled AC unit, particularly mini-split systems and compatible window-type AC units.
A key enhancement of the ARS-2 compared to its predecessor is its ability to learn and control temperature values for AUTO, COOL, and HEAT modes, offering more versatile climate management. You "teach" the ARS-2 the IR signals from your AC's original remote control. Once configured, the ARS-2 automatically sends the desired Day or Night temperature setpoints to your AC unit, based on the photocell and temperature sensor status and your controller settings. This enables precise automatic control tailored to daily cycles. Additionally, the ARS-2 allows you to strategically set temperature parameters for a Day or Night period to effectively turn the mini-split unit completely off during that time, providing flexible, automated environmental control without manual intervention.
